'Tenchu Z' is a Ninja Stealth Action set in Feudal Japan.
Reflecting Ninja mythology, Tenchu Z allows players to incorporate stealth, sword-based combat and the ability to utilise a wide variety of ninja accessories to complete their objectives – all while taking into account how much noise they make, how visible they are, and even how badly they smell.
Master Tenchu Z's new stealth kill system: Attack and kill an opponent in Tenchu Z while hanging from the ceiling, or even from beneath the floor! Sheath your weapons to help you remain hidden, or take it out to attack your enemies. Tenchu Z's new double kill technique allows you to eliminate multiple opponents without sacrificing your stealth.
Over 50 quintissential Tenchu missions: Assassinate your target, pour poison into a river in enemy territory, or deliver a secret scroll, all while avoiding enemy detection. Each Tenchu Z mission presents a unique challenge and will test your ability to adapt your ninja skills to any situation.
Enlist help from fellow Tenchu fans: Play Tenchu Z at home with up to four players on system link, or jump online and play Tenchu Z co-op on Xbox LIVE. Review the map, strategise with your partners, and devise Tenchu mission tactics in the village that serves as your base of operations and the in-game chat room.
Experience enhanced ninja play with Tenchu Z's Ki meter: Use Tenchu Z's new Ki (life force) meter to avoid being detected by enemies and to move like a real ninja. Use all your senses to move in the shadows and remain completely undetected.
Build fully customisable Tenchu characters: A first for the Tenchu franchise, Tenchu Z lets you choose a variety of body types, facial features, tattoos, and clothing to build your own custom Tenchu ninja. You can also tailor your combo attacks and special moves in Tenchu Z to suit your own playing style, adjusting your character's attributes and purchasing new Tenchu moves to master.
